From the press-release:
βLeeza joins forces with Thessa Torsing, best known as producer and DJ upsammy, for an audiovisual concert in De School during ADE 2019. Based on Thessaβs sounds and concepts of spatiality, Leeza created images shaped by the mood and associations it evokes and re-visualising it through her own personal interpretations. Moving from Thessaβs ideas on music as places and memories. In her work Thessa aims to recreate places or images through sound; often poetically, by translating her own remembrances of locations, images, and perceptions. Sometimes in a more literal way, by using field recordings. In this performance Leeza and Thessa makes their memories accessible to others, free for everyone to explore, to hear or walk around in. As if it were a garden of music, something that exists on the border between reality and fantasy.β
